i am up in the clouds, and i can't and i can't come down

today has been so fun so far! other than the dream, which freaked me out so much i stayed in bed for another hour. my parents are at the golf tournament in akron all day so i have quietemptyhouse for pretty much the first time this summer... ate what i liked, got gas and a carwash for babyjetta, ran to the mall, shopped... a few shirts and pair of cords from jcrew, khakis and a blue shirt from abersnobby, then off to legacy to get myself a new ipod holder since the belt thing on mine snapped off. since the mac store is next to gelateria, couldn't resist, sat on a bench with a clove and some gelato, maggie infeld walked by and i hadn't seen her since literally 8th grade but she was always so nice so we talked for a sec, then i went up to best buy and bought blank cds and a new tape cassette adapter since mine broke. after seeing maggie i was driving on mayfield and floyd wish you were here came on the radio, and i drove by st. clare's where we had wicked grade school dances, and i felt soo 7th grade. the rest of the time i just drove around with guster or pearl jam, it was a beautiful day with puffy clouds which looked gorgeous from behind sunglasses. yummy. i even picked up when people called, both bails AND billy, i've been so phoneophobic all summer that i hadn't picked up for billy once since june or so, and i felt so bad. but we're gonna get together when he's in cleveland for a day, yay.

all this is completely pointless of course, i just like having new clothes. i need to buy shoes too, something with heels so my feet don't get soaking wet in the winter, that mission is too overwhelming for me alone - will need to bring my mother.

now i'm gonna meet bays for coffee since she's back from the outer banks, and we're going to lauren vw's to visit the plurps a bit. i feel like such a mallrat and a prep but today was required, and quite quite pleasant. hooray :)
