i was talking to my mom today while she was making lunch for us, and she was asking me what i planned to do in the next 3 years and what i'd do if i lost my current job. she said i should go back into doing something environmental science-related, "with all these tunisia's happening in the world". what? "tunisias! you know, like that tunisia in japan right now." oh tsunami. i made fun of my mom and when my sister came into the kitchen i told her about it and we made fun of her again.
