Phew!!!
The psych paper is done and turned in. And the presentation is over as well.
Granted I had a month to do the paper but when has anyone ever known Anisha to do a paper early? NEVER!!! That's cause I dislike writing with a passion. I wish I were a better writer but wishes don't make a king of a beggar (or, wishing doesn't get you anywhere).
I am embarrassed by my ineptitude at using a laptop. I made the powerpoint for our presentation and it took me forever to open it. There were probably people snickering but the advantage to staring at the screen is that you don't see that.
I feel so relieved that this paper is over with. Too bad that's the only relief since it's 20% of my grade and I know I did a shit job. It's definitely worse than the first one I had to do. I got lucky with the first one but I shouldn't have high hopes for this one.
Let's see what else is there to say...
I went to Queens for Thanksgiving this year and it was a change from Cortland. I missed seeing all my friends though. :/
But I was grateful to see the family since it had been 3 months since I'd last seen them. And the biggest bonus was getting some home food. There's nothing quite like it. :)
I need to learn to make more than pasta and nachoes and rice. But I've never been one to enjoy cooking. As the mom and aunts always say, I'll be in for trouble when I'm married but who's worried about that. For now, I'll be happy just being able to feed myself. :)
There was a first for me over Thanksgiving Break -- I had to get up early to go shopping on Black Friday!!! It's not legal to wake a college student up at 6:30 in the morning to go shopping. Expecially when I didn't find much at Macy's. What was worse was that I had to get up that early two days in a row for shopping. I got a couple things which was good but it would have been better had I been able to find more stuff. I wanted a scarf but the only ones I saw were 95 bucks and there was no way in hell I was paying that much.
Back to the present...
I was going to go to Syracuse with Wendy to visit SUNY Upstate on Saturday (although I don't intend on attending med school anymore). The weather forecast changes made it difficult to decide whether or not to make the trip. First it was supposed to snow, then it wasn't, and now we're back to being in a winter storm watch. It seems that we won't be making the trip. However there is a blood drive at an armory on our street tomorrow so maybe I could go give blood instead. I'm a Type-O Hero!!! :)
O-positive but it's a much needed blood type. I'm a scaredy cat when it comes to giving blood. I'll do it but I get light headed. I've never fainted in my life before and maybe I can keep it that way.
One last thing is that Shane hasn't been online for the past couple days. I haven't really talked to him a lot lately since we've both been busy but I miss my good nights and hugs!
I'm exhausted from the lack of sleep and really hungry too. I've got about 5 minutes till Wendy gets out of class and we can go have lunch at the Union. Yay for food!
Hopefully I can stay awake for Physics and then I'm heading home and to my bed.
Have a good and snowy weekend!!!
For Binghamton: TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF 8 TO 12 INCHES CAN BE EXPECTED BY LATE SATURDAY AFTERNOON
