New dog training idol.
This girl is awesome. She's a force-free trainer who does sports with her Mals, including bitework. I've known of her for awhile, but I stumbled across her videowhen searching for a clear explanation of how to teach French Ring's Guard of Object exercise. I am in love.
Uh...in relation, my instructor has been pushing me to join the local Schutzhund club with my APBT. I think he'd be good at it, and the club is supposedly pit bull friendly. And I do want to do Schutzhund seriously with my next dog, so might as well start learning now. But I'm worried they're going to insist on using corrective methods. That's a road I'm not willing to go down, especially not with this particular dog...and that's a lot of time and money to lose if we have to quit. =/ So I don't know.
