Update from Texas: the bugs in this place are the size of a horse with wings that are everywhere. In fact, to be honest I've gotten acclimated to their constant presence. Another fun fact about Texas is the sun is dry hot and relentless. It also has a way of messing up the body's internal clock since it doesn't get dark until approximately 8:45. But you know other than the heat and the bugs it's not too bad I can still sleep so that's the best part really. Plus we have the weekends off to hang out in the waterfalls known as Devil's Waterhole and generally be unproductive and stupid. Now only 5 days until we leave this state!
