Bad is Just the Start of It
Today has been a really bad day. Like the kind where I'm sitting on my couch and refusing to move farther than my front door. I'm even forfeiting my figure and wallet by ordering Chinese takeout that will be delivered hopefully in the next hour or so.
First off I have been a bit pissy for no particular reason all week. But today I was given reason. And now I'm even more annoyed with myself for wasting a perfectly bad mood all week.
I hit a tire of someone's Wrangler today. Sad thing is I didn't even notice I hit the guy until my Jeep bounced off his. Lucklily (and maybe not) he was in the car when I hit him. His tank of a Jeep didn't have a scratch however mine did. My right front fender is hanging loose and the right tire guard was bumped off a couple of notches. The crazy part is I happened to hit the nicest guy ever. After he realized the amount of my damage to my car he said he felt bad and then tried to pop my fender back in. It wouldn't just pop back in.
Afterwards I had to spend my time in Cal which never contributes to a good mood of mine. Then my day took even more of a nosedive since I spent 4 hours outside for my Geomorphology lab cursing at a total station. I got so furious at one point that I almost considered knocking out a $3000 machine. And after trying my best not to collapse on the drive home I realized my car was making a dragging noise. Once I pulled over some girl said your car is dragging something. Turns out the damage I thought wasn't so bad had turned into worse because my tire cover had been drug all over Airport Blvd. At this point tucking it neatly back in wasn't an option so on the side of the biggest road in Mobile I was crouched down ripping a huge piece off my Jeep.
Now I have the ridiculous sunburn all over my face to prove the countless hours I spent sweating in the sun. And to top it off my one moment of Chinese glory of this night turned into a disaster since I was overcharged for 2 meals not 1. Cosmic slap in the face kind of. I think I'll be avoiding the world and all its perils for a little while.
