Return from Mexico.
I made it back from Mexico. And I'm finally home in Mobile. Not saying I didn't have a fabulous time but damn it feels good to be back. People keep asking me if I had a blast and how much fun was it or what my favorite part was and honestly I'm having a hard time answering. It was amazing, surreal, fun everything and more. But there's no favorite part because every minute of it I enjoyed. I got to stay in a luxury suite wake up to the Caribbean Sea and its azure waters and waste my days on a bed underneath a cabana by the pool with my boyfriend and a drink constantly in hand. The scenery was gorgeous and almost impossible to describe. Plus, my inner fat kid had all her dreams come true with all the buffets and dinners and food you could grab.
But honestly, I missed the states. I love the idea of being able to understand what my concierge, convenient store attendant or waiter is saying. The satisfaction of reading all the advertisements, the labels everything I'm buying I know what it is first. Oh, and the best part is the luxury of using our own water to brush my teeth. No more bottled water to run through my toothbrush and mouth!
The sad part is I had to say goodbye yesterday and the clock restarts until next month. Its always either/or home or away here or there never the best of both worlds. But until then I'm happy and that's what matters.
