August Writing Day 11

Man! This was way hard!

Infinity. Last Unknown. Look through various annals of a brilliant boat: Ambition. Its multi-annual commission to look for dissimilar activity and distinct nations. To audaciously hazard what no guy has brought about until now!

I think what I love about your writing is how you introduce big thoughts, and then use words like "guy".

LOVE it.

From the sublime to the ridiculous, that's me!

Thanks! I'm glad you liked it!

Again, this is wonderful. Did no one else get what it was?

Thank you.

I don't think so. This puzzles me.

Amazing how you can do this without using an insignificant, but common non-consonant.

Sorry, this was as much as I could do.

I had to read this twice before I realized!

Hooray!

It's HARD isn't it?!

Wow! I bet that was really, really challenging! I wonder if it would be as hard with any other vowel or if 'e' is just that special and crucial... Hmmm...

Nicely done, though!

btw, Is it my imagination or do I detect a Star Trek reference here? ;-)

According to the frequency of usage table, the letters are E,T,A,O,I,N, etc. So I think leaving out any vowel would be difficult. Except for U.

However, I'm not going to test it.

Thank you! I couldn't have done it without Mr Roget. He's my hero!

YES!! I was wondering if anyone else would realise what it was!! YAY for Ellie!

*g* I don't blame you for not wanting to test it!

*muses* Now, Mr. Roget and Mr. Webster -- both heros? Or is one the sidekick of the other...?

*giggles* Glad I got it right... The rhythm of this Infinity. Last Unknown. felt quite familiar, and this To audaciously hazard what no guy has brought about until now! seemed pretty familiar, too! But, to be perfectly honest, it was only an inkling until I saw wildesidewalker's comment... Then I felt pretty certain I wasn't just seeing things!

Feel free if you so desire! ;D

Hmmm...I think they're both heroes, but they occasionally work for one another.

Shannon probably knew the Star Trek opening narration before she was born. I kind of like mine better.
