Twins at 10 weeks

Oct 18, 2007 09:01

The twins are 10 weeks old tomorrow, and I'm currently out of state at my parent's place while my husband went away on business. Next week we'll all be back home.

A pediatrician friend of my mother's stopped by and checked on Mason -- he seems pretty certain that Mason has acid reflux, so next week when they go in for their belated 2-month well baby visit I've instructed my husband to mention it to our doctor. Hopefully something can be done so that if/when Mason spits up in his crib it doesn't wake him up. The pediatrician had recommended putting rice cereal (0.5 - 1 teaspoon per ounce) in his formula to help it stay down in his stomach. The poor kid will even spit up after two hours of sitting up-right. Anyone else having a reflux issue this bad?

My father has taken to Kyle in a big way. He started saying to Kyle, "Do you want to go to Hooters with your pop-pop to see the girlies with the big boobies?" Kyle starts smiling and cracking up. It happens almost every time we say it to him. We're actually thinking about going and getting a picture of them with the girls.

The twins kept us up all night last night... for some reason they did not want to go to bed. Doesn't it figure I'm having a hell of a time trying to keep them up today?
