Who: Draco and Snape
What: Draco wants to talk to the Headmaster
Where: Snape's office.
When: Tuesday, November 11th, after classes
Status complete.

When morning finally arrived, Draco welcomed it with more gratitude than he had in a very long time. It was torturous to be so tired and so unable to sleep, though not entirely unfamiliar. He'd felt this way after he'd killed for the first time, half-expecting the ghosts of the two children to appear in the dim light of his room - and now he was dealing with a spectre that could actually harm him, rather than simply annoy him.

He did not want to give the impression that he had not slept, so he stayed in bed until the normal hour that he got up, and even managed a small but completely faked grumble as he swung his legs over the side of the bed. He dressed just slightly faster than normal, and went down to breakfast, downing three cups of tea instead of the usual two. He was going to need the caffeine.

Somehow he managed to take mostly coherent notes in class, though his mind wandered. He went down to the library at lunch and looked through a few (mostly useless) books on ghosts, growing increasingly frustrated when what he read didn't add up. He thought he noticed a few odd looks in his direction, and wondered in a moment of brief paranoia if the ghost was watching him too, but managed to convince himself - mostly - that he was being stupid.

When his last class was over, he made his way to the Headmaster's office, only to be stumped by the gargoyle. He had no idea what the password was and no way to open it, which was absolutely infuriating. Draco was not in the mood for guessing games, especially with a Headmaster that would not pick a password as simple as a piece of candy, and so he simply glared the stupid creature as if he could force it to move by sheer willpower alone.

If he didn't find some way in within the next few minutes, he was going to scrap the whole thing altogether.
