Ernie was all but bouncing off the walls in his excitement. Despite his recent distractions, he had always been a true and loyal friend, and loved nothing more than to do something special for someone who deserved a little happiness in their life.
When he reached the door to Ravenclaw Tower, he gleefully answered the knocker's riddle, then announced the reason for his arrival. Once the magical device assured him that Michael would be told of his arrival, he worked to school his features.
Remember, you're supposed to be dragging him off to help you with something for Megan. Merlin, I can't wait to see his face!
