What: the FIRST Draco-returning-to-Hogwarts thread, with a parental escort and a talk with the Headmaster.

Draco's trunk was packed. His owl was in its cage. He was dressed in one of the new robes he'd bought, a Slytherin shade of green, and he'd spent nearly an hour in front of the mirror ensuring that his hair and robes were impeccable. First impressions were important, and Draco wanted his first impression on the Headmaster and the school to be one of confidence and poise. Certainly not that of a boy too young to be out of school being dragged back by his parents.
Glancing around the room one last time, Draco decided that he was ready.
Levitating his trunk behind him, he made his way down to the parlour. His parents were already waiting for him there, he was sure; it was getting close to the time when the special Floo connection they had arranged would be opening. It felt odd to be Flooing to school, but a train ride would be boring by himself and Draco doubted that they'd run it for a single student, anyway.
Upon entering the parlour, he set his trunk down on one side of the fire, and set his owl's cage on top of it. Mopsy offered him a bit of tea, but Draco turned it down. He was just a tiny bit nervous, though he'd never admit it, and he certainly didn't need caffeine to make it worse.
