Anthony sat on one of the empty benches that lined the walls of the hallway outside of the hospital wing. The reason he had given for not being inside was that he didn’t want to get in the way of Madame Pince, the other patients or people who were there to visit. In actuality, the hospital wing seriously skeeved him out.
He leaned forward, his head in his hands, his elbows propped on his knees - and stared at the stone floor. Besides the sight hint of nausea, Anthony felt bombarded with emotions.
What had happened down there? Where was Millicent? Why do these things keep happening….the second attack in three days? Was this why they sent Snape? How would he respond to this new? What would happen to his friends….or the whole student body for that matter? What was going to change?
Anthony took a deep breath and waited.
