Three tall individuals decided to obstruct my view during one of M.I.A.'s songs. All three of them converged right in front of me. I decided I would not let that happen. I pushed my way in front. I'm not saying that it's their fault for being tall. But for being so rude and inconsiderate to just push your way in front and talk?

M.I.A. is excellent, especially with their teasing tag of Hollaback Girl. It consists of two women with dynamic rapping skills that sounds different from the current bold rap. They have the I'm confidant but not fuckin' arrogant tone down, unlike Jay-Z. This is some of the best rap I've ever heard. Oh yeah, I don't remember any song about luxuries of being celebrities, probably because they're not celebrities. But they did wrap about war and murder under political pretenses as well as hot steamy sex. 30 minute set. Unfortunately, M.I.A. is romantically involved with Diplo. -(

LCD Soundsystem is a bit in the air right now. They sound superb on album: they sound superb on the dance floor. What I don't get is why I can't feel the same spark that I felt from the album. Very odd indeed. Hour long set. Setlists courtesy of Emily.

I saw dance-punk-rock group LCD Soundsystem with supporting act rapper M.I.A. (w/ Diplo as MC/DJ).
Thanks Emily, feeling better, physically.

EDIT: I'll be gone most of the weekend for once, yay!
