Couldn't catch the supporting band's name, but I sure do know I want donuts, or ice cream, or shit. Dios Malos sounded more like a pop band this time around. Furnaces' lineup now includes Matt on organ, Eleanor on vocals only, a new percussionist named Michael Goodmen with many bells/cymbals/etc., Lowenstein on multifiltered guitar, and D'amico on drums. I'm glad the Furnaces are revisiting the final quarter of Blueberry Boat. The new songs have the same feeling that Wolf Parade's new songs feel as well: it sounds cathartic and progressive. Hurray for new album in October.
