life update... it's been a while
Lots has happened. Let's see...
Graduated from Augustana, sad and happy. Moved out of creepy RI house. Miss roomates. Need to see them soon.
Came home. Watched lots of movies, including but not limited to: The Hitcher, Notes on a Scandal, Pirates 3, Knocked Up, last of season one of Big Love, Borat... that's all I can remember. Cleaned out the basement and had a garage sale. Spending lots of time with my mom...
Saw my high school friend Katie several times. Have plans for the rest of summer, including but not limited to: go bike riding, go to St. Louis, watch all of Grey's Anatomy seasons 1 and 2.
Saw other high school friends. Said goodbye to Mike who is going to Italy for a year.
Saw the LA term girls at Woodfield. Future plans include: hang out at Lisa's, go to Peruvian restaurant.
Went camping in Virginia with Molly's gigantic family. Went to Williamsburg, Jamestown and Washington D.C. Future travel plans include: London and Atlanta.
Ate dinner at Charlie Trotter's kitchen table. Ate approximately 200 different "flavors" including cuttlefish, pickled lambs tongue, kobe beef, some sort of foam, elephant garlic and mussels.
Joined Lifetime fitness. It's been good so far. I'm on my way there in a few minutes.
And last, and definitely most exciting and important: I got my Peace Corps assignment!! I will be leaving for the Dominican Republic on September 13!!!! My assignment is community economic development. Yippee!!!!
That's pretty much the update. Seems a lot more fun and productive when I actually lay it all out. And it's not even half over yet!
