Ahh... life is good. Seriously. It's rare recently that things get me down. School is going well. I actually like some classes! Shock of the century. My Business and Professional Speaking class, which I thought was going to be doing speeches and learning to be comfortable speaking, etc, is turning out to be the most useful class ever. We are talking about all sort of business things, like communication, resumes, interviews, etc. It's a mix of Business Writing, Management, common sense and practical like really preparing for interviews. We are doing mock ones next week. I think all business majors should take this class. Speaking of interviews, I've had two so far and not heard anything, but next Thursday I have to drive out to Lincolnshire (poo) to interview at Quill (whoo). I think I really want this one. It's working in the finance department doing budgeting and analysis. Very practical. I know, you all think it's lame, but I gotta start somewhere. The other class I like is International Finance. I don't know why, but I really like it so far. The third class is Money and Banking, and, well, that kinda sucks, but two out of three ain't bad. Pledging is going awesome! Except for the fact that a bunch of great girls depledged. But the rest of the pledge class is still amazing and so is my little!! I'm doubley appreciative because my little last year depledged, but things really do work out for the best and Kari is great! I'm so proud. I feel like a mom. I also love the rest of my CAP sisters cause they are great. I also love being Treasurer cause it's fun and I feel responsible and I just like it. I don't want to give it up, but I will have to because (another happy thought) I'm going to Latin America in the fall!! I can't wait to go back to Ecuador. It's only for like less than two weeks of the trip, but still, I just can't wait for speaking Spanish, Tutto Freddo, walking the busy small streets, pan de chocolate, bread in general, and everything else Cuencano. I'm also excited for the rest of the trip like hiking the Inca trail, living on the beach in Brasil, learning about new places, celebrating Dia de los Muertos in Mexico, and seeing Aztec ruins (ya know, versus Incan), and so much more, I'm sure. Oh, and completely random, but Hot Stigma Guy sits in the CC all of C period too so I get to stare at him 3 days a week (I'm sad, I know). I think that's about it.
