#2 (not as good as #1, but it's not a series with just 1 question)

Initially when I read this question I thought that most definitely personality influences appearance more. After thinking a little more though I can see it both ways...and then after reading Katrina's comments (p.s. i laughed outloud when she had to start her second comment because she had exceeded the limit...I never knew there was a limit on lj comments! haha) I definitely understand and agree with what she said.

To be quite honest, when I first read the question I immediately thought of how many guys in my life that I have fallen for their personalities first and as I got to know them more they got more attractive. And of course, the second thing I thought of was people I didn't like in my life and how much more unattractive they seemed to me as they got bitchier. I think here it's all about whether or not you're focusing your attention to the positive or negative aspects of a person. If you're focused on the fact that they're a jerk or bitchy, then it's way easier to notice the other ugly things about them, including appearance.

I agree a lot with what Katrina said about appearance affecting personality though. But a lot of times I think that's more internal. Like, the way I appear to others dictates a lot of how they act towards me which then influences the way I react to them. Does that make sense? But I don't really think my appearance influences my personality so much as it expresses it. .... eh....but only to a point.

Ah. I just feel like there are so many different examples and exceptions to this....and I'm too lazy right now to write until forever...haha. But I guess that's why it's a discussion topic!

p.s. hi steve, how are you?
