I finally figured out how to log in.
Don't have a lot to say at the moment, other than that I embody the sterotype of Suburban Homeowner, with my futzing and scheming and planning. I'm okay with that, though -- our first summer involved hosting a seemingly unending string of pool parties. Suburbia has its perks.
Today is grey and wet. I was hoping to stain some wood pieces that are destined to become shelves for our front room but the weather had other plans. Instead we did the big box / home store circuit of Canadian Tire, Home Depot, Lowes, and Rona.
In other news, Lucifer and Lola (our new-ish cats) just finished hanging out in a makeshift kitty playpen -- a mammoth patio furniture box. Lucifer is big enough to get in and out on his own, and just spent a few moments balancing on the edge of the box. Lola is smaller and is now hanging out on the top of a chair. They amuse me.
I'd best not spend all my pennies on one post. ::curtsy:: ::poof::
