Seven fun facts.
1. I went to a high school that was more like a college than my college. I now go to a university where we call our professors "mr. and miss" rather than address them as "doctor," like we did at my high school.
2. I had sex for the first time to this song.

3. I find darkness and music together comforting. I like being in crowds as well. Make of this what you will.
4. The other night after a big home game a couple of asshole undergrads were shouting obnoxious bullshit at passerbys. One of them started to say something to me and another cautioned him that I "might be a professor."
5. My grandfather was considered for the Noble Prize in Economics. That's all I'm saying... cheers to whoever figures it out. No, his last name was not the same as mine but he does have a wiki page.
6. In a recent conversation a friend said to me, and I agreed, that I'm able to convey my emotions more clearly in text than in speech. She says it's because I'm monotone (something I notice but can't really help). It's kept me from becoming a convincing actor but has made me more attentive to the subtleties of language.
7. Once at a showing of Turendot at the Metropolitan Opera I stood next to Sean Connery. We were slogging our way up to the balcony and he said he likes to sit up here because it's "closher to heaven."
