1/2 inch
Feeling nostalgic after saeriellyn's birth, I revisited video and journal entries from mine. And discovered that I had my birth announcements printed with the baby's length 1/2" longer than it really was! We've believed he was 19 3/4" for months now, and I always figured the audio was garbled in the clip where the nurse says "nineteen and uh-quarter inches". But there is it in my journal and baby book, nineteen and ONE-quarter inch! I'll have to go look at our pediatric records to see where we might have gotten lost in translation. If it costs money to reprint the announcements (we haven't sent them out yet; yeah, I know, it's been ten months and we just got them!), I guess we'll leave them alone and have something to laugh about. I just want to make sure the official record is correct!
