All's well that ends well.

I was hugged by a small child. At Pioneer Days, that is. The mother asked to take a photo of her daughter with me, and afterwards the little girl turned and threw her arms around my voluminous skirts. I loved it--the spontaneous, uninhibited expression of a child. I wonder if this is what it feels like to be Mickey at Disney.

Anyway, the jacket fits, woo-hoo! The only place that's still snug is really just across the bust. Wearing it in 85 degree weather for three hours today was comfortable enough. So other than maybe moving the buttons so they don't pull as much, I'll leave it alone.

Right now, I'm wanting a cool shower and a big fat nap. I should probably review my script for tomorrow. I haven't given it a thought since rehearsal last Tuesday, and every wagon I saw today went out completely full.
