High praise
Last Friday my friend Leah picked up the Jedi costume I made for her son Josh. Later that night she called me and put him on the phone. "Thank you for my costume, Miss Audrey," he said politely. But when Leah prompted him to "tell her what you just told me", he gushed, "it's totally awesome!!" Now that's high praise from an eight-year-old!
Sunday when he wore it to Star Wars Weekends, Leah said a tourist stopped them and asked where in the park they could buy the costume! Josh also got to fight Darth Vader in the Jedi Academy (his brother Shawn, wearing a costume made by his grandma, fought Darth Maul). Disney provides plastic sabers, but Josh got picked out by the Master for packing two of his own! I can't wait to see pics.
