classes started today...first class of the day was chinese...the professor is really cute but she seems really serious about the class, which is a good thing i suppose :-D
afterwards i had accounting. the professor's a temp covering for the real prof who will be on sabbatical for the next year. she's apparently been teaching for 20+ years...but she constantly goes off on tangents about herself and her life. but the cool thing is that she said that we get to grade ourselves, and as long as the grade isn't ridiculous she probably won't make any personal changes.
french was french with Agnes, she's such a sweetheart!!! she nominated me for recognition as a student whose grades don't necessarily reflect the amount of work put into class...probably because i got a B+ in her class and would have gotten an A if i...um...actually spoke french before starting up in 102.......
i'm interviewing for a job in the LRC, which will hopefully take the place of the Commons job. i think i'm done with food services. i'd also like to volunteer at El Centro...apparently the college will pay work study students $8/hr for volunteer work done off campus....
i'll take pics of my room and post them on facebook later...once all the decorations are actually put up and we get around to rearranging our common room!!!
