Jen got me a cake. It's pretty much the best cake ever. It says "hi dear." I KNOW WHAT YOU'RE THINKING. IT SHOULD SAY HI THERE BUT IT DOESN'T.
No. It's fated to be this way. I am sure of it. It' more endearing this way. Or so I like to think. :)
I'm so glad to have such good friends.
At the same time it's all very sad, as it was the last family night (for me, anyway) of the summer. It was such an anchor for me throughout the summer. I loved seeing everyone every week and I'll miss Jen and everyone else so much when I leave for school.
It's weird to try to pack everything that's important to me into a couple of (albeit large) suitcases. It seems trivializing, in a way.
Also, I AM GOING TO FORGET SHIT ALL OVER THE PLACE.
It's inevitable. I'm just trying to accept the fact in advance.
I should probably sleep. I don't know.
