The Death of the Nutcracker
So last night I went to The Nutcracker with the rest of my family. This is the first time in twelve years that I haven't been in the production. Niether one of my brothers were in it this year either. JP and Tom decided to revamp the entire show with new sets and lighting. The first half was far too cold feeling but I did like the rat costumes...the second act was turned into a circus act. I hated it! The music was changed to carousel music and such and there was a fucking tango for spanish. AAAHHH! I wanted to scream at the end. It totally lost the feeling of Christmas warmth. Clara killed the rat king with the sword and not her shoe. The Nutcracker never comes to life again and its supposed to be clara's love that saves him. I was just glas that I wasn't involved in it.
