Somnus is genius. *sighs happily*

I agree! Hah! Great minds... are dirty? LOL. Seriously I love how that story was paced and how it was laid out. And then for Bella to find out it was a dream - perfect! More frustration for Bella!

Well, if you do it right ;) But, yeah. I think too many BDSM fics write the fantasy, rather than the interaction; nothing wrong with that, really, but there's not much examination of the relationship itself. Does that make sense? It made sense in my head... gah. Tell me you know what I mean, even if you have to lie.

I get your point. So much. And I didn't even have to lie! I have rarely seen BDSM fics that are hot and yet satisfies the mind also. Is that weird? That even with BDSM fics, I obviously demand that my mind be satisfied also? But doesn't a fic feel more whole if it speaks to body, mind and emotion? This one does - the erotica for the body, the relationship dynamic written smartly for the mind and the underlying love and respect and trust for the emotion. *grumbles I know I'm such a demanding bitch.

I have a whole day before vacation and I have to cleeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaan....

Ah! Well get on with the cleanin' so that you can get started on that vacay!

PS. The boy loved your choice of music for this! He was like "babe where'd you hear this? I didn't think you'd know this song." Hahaha!

Dude, if he knows Miyasaki he's a keeper ;) But, yeah, Battle Drums was one of the possibilities that came up in my manic babbling brainstorming thread with you. I listened and didn't like it for the sex, but it stuck anyway, and after a moment I put it on repeat and used it as the basis for Jacob's fighting-the-wolf backstory. Battle Drums is the pressure building, and for *that*, it works. (Never did come up with decent music for the sex. I think maybe it didn't need any. Hmm. Will have to ponder.) By the way, if you haven't seen Princess Mononoke, you must. Though Spirited Away is the best Miyasaki in my personal opinion. (Howl's Moving Castle has some great moments, but it gets a little E/B for me in a weird-ass way.)

I haven't seen it yet but now that someone's rec'd it, I will. I will ask the boy if he has Spirited Away. I rarely watch anime. He did a few years back. So he might have a copy.

As for him being a keeper - I think you're right. *is torn between snorting and giggling. LOL

I'm not an anime person either, but I make an exception for Miyasaki because of the pure win.

(Still haven't cleaned, by the way. Sitting on the computer instead. I am so, so, so tired, these fics have totally wiped me out but somehow my dishes still aren't clean. Mostly listening to the music I have to do -- I mentioned this is a working vacation, right? -- gotta get this right, that's not us but we do that song at that tempo on that many bells with three fewer ringers) and urrrrrggghhh. *is dead*

Oh wow! You ring! I've always found these bell choirs very interesting as I only know of a few. That piece at that tempo, very ambitious. You must be in a really good group then.

Are you performing this during your working vacation? You should rest first and then tackle the dishes and music! When I'm exhausted I put Skillet on and play it at the volume it ought to be played then keep doing what I need to do before finally conking out - usually a few feet short of my bed.

*here here, milk and cookies should help.

Yeah, we're pretty good. When rested. (Finished packing and cleaning at 2 am. Woke up at 6 to get ready to go. Waiting on coffee. No adrenaline left to run on. Urg...)

Ah the days when we run on coffee and sheer willpower! Try chocolate. It might not keep you awake but it'll make you feel better.
