I am officially jealous, this is one amazing fic...I can't seem to get the hang of writing Bella or Charlie yet, but I won't give up. I'm working on a fic right now that pairs an OC with Jake to get my feet wet...
Second read through of this one, I'd love a sequel :)

(Yes, I'm Team Jacob all the way lol)

Watch the shotgun scene in Twilight, then the Bella-runs-out scene, and you'll have Charlie. Bella is... trickier. Again, go with the movies, because if you try to write book!Bella, you'll probably just someone horribly murder her about three paragraphs in.

Glad you liked this :) But no, no sequel. Don't get your hopes up.

This is definitely one of the best Jacob and Bella run away on the road fics I've read, if not the best. You really managed to capture how hard it would be for Jacob to leave -- I can feel for him, can feel for his frustration and despair. And I really liked that you had Jacob and Bella comforting one another by holding each other when they have nightmares -- they have a physical relationship, the two of them, even if it's not that kind of physical.

Also -- I laughed so hard during that "morning wood" conversation. Poor Bella.

And I like the postcards she sends Charlie. They're all such sweet, simple ways of saying, "We're okay."

On to read the rest! . . .

This is based on a conversation I had once with my husband. He didn't laugh at me, at least. (Well, right then. Later he admitted that he saved up all the chortling for after I left the house.)
