I like this depth to Azula. That she really cares for her brother. I think this is so in-character for her and I love it. :) As always.

Glad you liked! Azula... she does care, in a weird way. She cares about Zuko in how he relates to her. (I maintain that Azula is a textbook psychopath.) She'd turn on him in an instant, of course (as is proven in the series), but... I kind of think they have a Batman/Joker relationship. Not in the sense that either of them share any characteristics with Batman or the Joker, but Azula just wouldn't know what to do without Zuko. It's such a fucked-up relationship.

Happy that you found her in character :) Getting in Azula's head was... complicated.

I like the type of relationship you have developed beteween Zuko and Azula. It seems very realistic to me.

Thank you :) Their relationship is really, really fascinating. *So* messed up. And I kind of liked exploring the concept that she might be kind of jealous of Katara. Zuko is supposed to be focused on Azula, dammit.

I like the idea of Azula seeing Katara as a rival for Zuko's attention, regardless of the nature of their respective relationships with him...and I love that you portrayed her as being protective of him, in a way - that's one of my favourite nuances of their relationship.

Also I'm so happy you're writing more in this universe omg.

Thanks :) The Zuko/Azula relationship is such a clusterfuck of crazy that your retinas start to burn if you look directly at it for too long. But she definitely looks out for him in canon -- to her own advantage, of course. I sort of get the feeling that if Azula had the choice of getting everything she wants WITH Zuko, as opposed to getting everything she wants WITHOUT Zuko, she'd pick with.

And I'm glad you're happy :) *sigh* I never keep my promises to myself, never ever...

AZULA! :D

This was incredibly in character. You got the Azula/Zuko relationship down pat. We only saw flashes of the real Azula in the show, it was nice to see some depth to her.

"This is IT, I'm not writing ANYTHING more" and then turning around and writing more.

I'm not complainin'. More Zutara, please? :)

Thanks :D Azula is... deep. Deeply disturbed, but deep. I can't figure out if her cylinders are firing on too many levels or too few...

*sigh* I'm sure there'll be more. I've got mental sketches for at least four more one-shots of varying lengths in this universe.
