Gorgeous. I loved the narrative style you used. Very fresh and with simple, beautiful transitions. It was the telling of a much longer story in far less words than one would imagine. I was deeply entertain and enthralled by your descriptions and lovely imagery of them sparring (on both levels). Excellent job.

Thank you :) This format is great for stories wherein a lot of time passes but not much of note happens from moment to moment (ie, roadtrip stories, which is what this is at its heart).

I was deeply entertain and enthralled by your descriptions and lovely imagery of them sparring (on both levels).
Oh, good, I'm glad you liked. I wasn't too sure how the action would play out; I tried flat out writing a sparring scene (the literal kind) and it got really repetitive. Had to pull back and go with implication instead, and that was kind of a fifty-fifty shot. To make the parallel work the other kind of sparring also had to be pulled back, but I think there was still enough there to keep likexaxdove from getting too mad at me.

All I have to say is THIS HAD BETTER NOT BE THE ONLY ZUTARA FIC YOU WRITE.

GLORIOUS. AMAZING. PERFECTION. AWESOME.

This is beautifully written. I love this format, and all of the characterizations were right on, especially Azula. You do Azula very, VERY well.

Keep on rockin' girl.

This format is very forgiving, which is one of the reasons I love it. It looks like you're doing all this awesome work, when you're actually just saving time by not writing anything you don't feel like writing! It's laziness disguised as skill! ;)

You do Azula very, VERY well.
I LOVED writing Azula. LOVED it. If I write any more ATLA fic (oh please God no I've kinda got this little WIP I'm supposed to be working on not that anyone has noticed or asked me about it or is expecting me to update) it'll probably be about her.

I definitely want that link. I fuckin' love that story.

Yeah, a lot has already been done in the ZK fandom. We've been around forever. (pretty much since the Waterbending Scroll fiasco XP) But if you DO come up with something, don't hesitate to put it up here! :D

Dude, the minute I watched The Waterbending Scroll and there was the little whisper in the ear moment, my 'ship radar pinned in the red. Absurdly sensual for a cartoon, yet so fabulous. I'd be very tempted to write something from that point if a) Katara wasn't just too damn young, and b) I couldn't possibly write sex involving hair like S1!Zuko's. No.

The good thing about having been around forever is that it means I'VE GOT A MILLION THINGS TO READ :D :D :D
