i wish mike wasn't working tonight.
a big handful of hair just came out of mingus' head as i smoothed it while tucking him into bed. i have to stop being so emotional about this, because it's really time that we sit down with him and talk about it, but fuck, he's four! i don't want to make a bigger deal out of it than it is, but it's such an emotional trigger for me, and with my mom being sick, i'm kind of walking around like an open wound these days. damn it.
