This is lovely, and I'm so glad that you've shared it. I still have my Nan's afghans. One is on my couch now. And I've got my dad's work knife. I treasure it. I would love to use it, but I'm so concerned that it would tarnish or break, so I keep it away hidden.

I'm glad you get so much out of his blanket, I'm glad it does so much for you.
