LIKE I SAID BEFORE...
like i said before... i have the coolest job in the world. this week, my boss got a call from MTV looking for girls to have on this show they're filming for when they come to orlando. so yesterday my manager Heather calls and said "ok we have to meet at my house at 5:30 and we're filming it tonight." all we knew was we were being filmed while we club hop with some band (which makes sense because we're club promoters). we got there and it wasnt a band we knew, it was actually just the drummer from this new band called Ligion thats supposed to be getting pretty big soon. and then there were the 3 main hosts of the show. it was really fun, we did basically what we do any work night but it was cool because the crew people were awesome.
before we went out, the producer took all 14 of us out to the most expensive sushi restaurant in orlando and i was talking to 2 of the hosts and they were asking me what i wanted to do and i told them how i wanted to be a successful singer/wongwriter and then when i was settling down from that, i want to be the dream coordinator for the children's dream fund. and he was giving me all of this awesome advice and he was seriously into helping me out so i was excited about that. and then he got Jojo, the drummer of the band, to come over later in the night to talk to me about music and we talked for a while and he basically told me that if i sent him my music myspace page, he'd listen to it and if he thought i had potential, he'd send it to his label because his label signs all different types of genres of music. :) i thought that was so nice and i told him how i felt bad that Blake, the host of the show, had him come over about this and he was like "no no i'm glad!" and he was saying how he thinks i have the look and the personality to make it, so he wanted to hear my music because since someone helped him get to where he is with his band, he wanted to help someone get to where they want to be with music. i think its awesome that even though he and his band are becoming successful, he still knows where he comes from and he's still appreciative of how lucky he is to have what he has.
anyways it was a fun night. the show airs on December 15th i think? on MTV, and i think its called "Roge" something... like maybe "Roge Trip"? gosh i dont remember.. but i dont know when our episode comes on. I'm sure it will be towards the end because they've been filming it for a while and they're almost done. i know they went down to palm beach this morning to film with Fly Leaf (or something like that) and My Chemical Romance because they asked me to come but i told them i couldnt because i have to study. :( lol how dumb, but its true... i really want to make sure i get A's and B's on my exams and thats not gonna happen if i dont focus!! ...... so i'm gonna go do that now. :)
