I don't really have a lot to say. I'm just wide awake at 3am, as usual. I had to babysit at 6:45am this morning, so I should be tired, after going to bed at 4am last night...but no. I'm a victim of insomnia. So I will tell my babysitting tales.
There are 2 girls, ages 3 and 6 and one boy, age 8.5 months. The girls decided they were going to play a rhyming game. It went something like this:
Oldest girl, to her sister: "Find something that rhymes with purse."
Youngest girl: "Two purses!"
The oldest girl also found something that rhymed with 'truck' and there the game ended.
The best part was when I was in the kitchen, washing dishes. The two girls were sitting at the table, coloring as the baby sat in the living room crawling around where I could clearly see him. I literally turned around for 30 seconds to put some dishes away and when I turned back around the baby had disappeared. As I frantically looked around, this little snot came crawling around the corner with something purple coming out the side of his mouth. I ran over to him and discovered he was holding an ink pad and stamp. Where he got it, I have no clue. He wasn't crying or anything, but I of course freaked out and cleaned his mouth frantically. The best part was when I picked him up, he blew little inky spit bubbles at me like he was proud of himself.
I'm going to be a fantastic mother someday, right?
Nothing from the Chick-fil-a people yet. My interview went really well, so I still have hope.
I was so bored earlier that I changed my entire LJ look. It's fun and it matches my kitchen.
I took a bath tonight and it was FANTASTIC. I had candles, but they were nothing in comparison to the Jeff and Josh candles. And I know that without even smelling them. There's something completely relaxing about candlelight for me.
I just watched the angry Asian mother and it made me sad.
