Week 1
2014 has presented it's opening showcase in the form of a headcold. Five days of a stuffed head, low energy and assorted medications. Lovely. Aspects of the cold aside, I'm a bit frustrated by the free time squandered on nursing a cold instead of working on my fix-it list. Taking down the Christmas lights and decorations today took far more energy than I would have expected.
On a positive note, parts I sourced prior to the holidays are slowly tricking in. With any luck, I'll have enough to make some headway on a few of the small engines lurking in my garage when good health finds me again.
This coming week at work looks to be challenging. This should be challenge to the "wag more, growl less" philosophy I'm attempting the embrace this year. I'll follow up on this next weekend and report how things faired.
