Well, I've finally come to the conclusion that playing Final Fantasy XI is comparable to watching paint dry. Aren't video games supposed to be about escapism? You play them so you can escape the monotony of every-day life, and yet I'd rather be doing homework than be playing FFXI. It's not that I'm bored with video games or MMORPGs as a whole; it's just that i'm bored with FFXI. I've logged countless hours on that goddamn game, and what do I have to show for it? A level 11 warrior who can barely hold his friggin' sword. I'm trying to get on the World of Warcraft bandwagon, but my brother is holding fast to FFXI, so that may be a bit of an issue. I guess I'll just have to gut him like a fish and then feed his rotting corpse to a swarn of man-eating wasps. That should do it.
