I wish everyone could just wear their heart...well, somewhere apparent. If not on their sleeves, then perhaps pinned to their shirts, or on their foreheads. It would be easy if everyone were just up front about what they felt (myself not included...because I am a hypocrite). If no one were afraid of rejection or ridicule (again, myself not included), things would be much more lucid...much more clear. It's infinitely frustrating to see people keeping secrets about things so trivial. If you're afraid of feelings, then don't have them. Or at least don't let on that you have them. To fear what you feel is worse than not feeling in the first place, so there seems to be no point in keeping them (feelings) hidden. Damn your pride, and damn your fear. Dishonesty - for what else do you call witholding information? - breeds nothing but complication, complexities, strife to no end. The nameless fear of rejection, the frivolous fear of ridicule mentioned above is all that keeps us...our minds, our hearts...in check. If you feel, let all know. Do not be selective and do not be fickle in your ways. The heart is never confused. The heart knows what it wants...it is only in the mind - that damnable middleman - that keeps us from knowing and expressing what we want. Try to filter out the mind's objections. Try to silence it, if only for a moment - save your mind for the other problems in your life. Allow your heart free reign.

Cheers.
