"you're such a liar," jieun giggles, a breathless little sound that goes straight to jiyeon's heart and makes it skip a beat. she's thankful she doesn't blush easily, because even the dark of midnight (when else would they be able to meet like this? lingering glances over the table of a 24-hour cafe and walks down quiet streets and stolen kisses in the cab ride home) by the Han river wouldn't be able to hide it.
"liar?" an eyebrow raised indignantly. arms defensively crossed. she recognises this teasing but rises to the bait every time - something masochistic inside her, or maybe she just likes the way jieun's eyes curve in amusement and the sound of her laugh.
"i always thought i was your first kiss." jieun is far too cheery, and it's too late to backtrack, and jiyeon mentally groans. "after filming that time, remember? i even sent you home!"
"don't kid yourself," jiyeon huffs with a roll of her eyes, turning away (in shyness, jieun knows, and tries not to giggle).
"so if that counts as a kiss..." jieun sounds suspiciously innocent, and jiyeon braces herself for whatever comes next. "that's how i should kiss you from now on?"
jiyeon knows from the heat in her cheeks and the impish grin on jieun's lips that yes, she's blushing - but doesn't care to deign with an answer, leaning forward instead to show jieun how it should be done, just the way she likes it.
"in front of my house," she answers confidently the next time she's asked. the eyes of the others widen in surprise, and jiyeon is silently thankful there are no cameras to record this - she recognises that look of narrowed eyes from soyeon, and sunyoung will pester her with endless questions when she gets back.
but still jiyeon smiles to herself; ducks her head and lets herself smile the way she does just for jieun. she can't wait for their next date already.
