Sunday beer day
I should post here more, but unlike Jim, I don't suck. Sorry, Jim, couldn't resist. :D
Sunday was a good day. A great day. You know when you meet someone new, and you can talk to her for hours every night about anything and everything and never get tired of each other? Yeah, it's like that. Yesterday, we went to a local pub, (Smithwick's for me, Corona for her), sat outside on the front patio for awhile because the weather was so nice, then went to see a movie. Good times. We're lucky in that there are several streets nearby that run through our local downtowns and are lined with all sorts of pubs and cafes and little shops. Lots of young people walking around, walking their dogs or whatever.
Also, for the first time in... 10 years?... I starting doing my hair differently. I had it cut shorter than usual on Saturday, and when I got out of the shower yesterday, I looked at it and thought "you know, I could just put some mousse on that, push the front up a bit, and it would look really clean", so I did just that instead of blow-drying it and trying to get it to comb back and have it wind up all spiky everywhere. So now on top it lays forward, and on the sides it's pretty much straight down and a little forward. I really like it, and it makes me wonder why I didn't do it sooner.
I took that when I got back from the movies. Not sure if I can keep it up as it gets longer, or if I'll just have to get it cut more often, but changing up the hairstyle has been one of those things that have been nagging at me for some time now.
Today she's working and my friends are in Idaho, so I took myself out to breakfast at a local diner (NOT DENNY'S, NO NO NO), hung out at Best Buy for a bit, and I'm thinking of hitting the gym this afternoon. I'm starting to like this 2008, mm hmm. I also need to start saving up for a tv. Those plasmas and LCDs at Best Buy were looking reeeally good today. :/
Ok, so that's more news about me than I've posted here for awhile now. At this rate I'll probably post another entry sometime in autumn.
PS: not sure if my edit fixed the picture issue. Comcast has decided to screw with the security on pictures or something. I dunno.
