10th Beat: AUDIO FOREVER

Sep 29, 2009 19:06

I'd hoped that I wouldn't need to say this, but someone necessitated it.

I was cursed this weekend. Why would I want to braid Timothy's hair or cut Kanda's? I'm blind.

Please disregard most of what I said, if you haven't already.

Except the picnic. I still think that would be nice.

[ooc: ... if only because Tianzi was so excited for it ;P]

derp derp derp, marie can't see, did you know you're blind?, o right you're blind

I seemed to think it would be cute.

Are they at least cute boys? If so it might have been.

Heh. I wouldn't know! I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and say yes.

Wow, dumb question. I'm sorry. Nice of you to give them the benefit of the doubt though.

Don't worry about it, I'll take it as a compliment.

I'm a nice guy. ... I think.

As a compliment?

Wait you only think you're a nice guy?

Sure - let's say it's like I get on well enough that no one notices.

It'd be pretty egotistical to say that I know I'm a nice guy, right?

I know a few blind people that get along better than a lot of people. Blindfold is a really impressive young woman, she's both a telepath and precognitive. I think she creeps the other kids out in that sense though, since she knows what's happening.

It'd only be egotistical if you said you were an amazingly nice guy with numerous talents.

Now that sounds handy. I've just got very good hearing. Which, mind, I'm not complaining about.

And if I happened to be an amazingly nice guy with numerous talents?

Destiny was also precognitive and blind, she had an entire set of diaries that supposedly had bits of the future in them. We found a few, really cryptic.

Well on one hand you'd just be telling the truth so there's nothing wrong with that but on the other hand some people might still see it as egotistical. Can't win situation there.

Anyone precognitive who wasn't blind? I think I'm glad I'm not precog. Too much to think about.

No win at all, so I'm better of with "think".

Yes there are a few who aren't blind and a few other blind superhero's who have other abilities. One man has all his other senses enhanced. And some of the precogs...only see glimpses and generally really bad things.

I guess you win.

I suppose I wouldn't mind being precog if I could see a little bit of a good thing. Or, how to avoid that ditch in the road.

Any prize?

It never seems to work like that for them.

Not really. I could make one up.
