Some more baby/pregnancy stuff...

I have been working on getting things together for the nursery.  One of the things I was thinking about doing was wall letters for above the crib.  I wasn't sure if I wanted to do them or not but after looking around at Michael's I got some ideas and decided to give them a try.  I mostly finished them today.

I wanted to incorporate the polka dots from the bedding but still add a girly touch with the flowers.  I just have to add the ribbon to the yellow letters.  I love how they turned out!

My belly has been growing like crazy!  It doesn't seem like it but when I compare my weekly pictures, you can really tell.  Here I am the last two weeks.

 23 weeks

And I am starting to gain weight now, which is freaking me out a bit.  I mean, I know I am supposed to but...yikes.  I pretty much stuck at 5 pounds for a long time and now I am at 10.  I guess that isn't horrible for being more than half way through but still, I am only 5'1" so it shows, at least to me.  No big deal.  My little girl is growing and that is what makes me happy.

And this little one is a mover and a shaker.  I swear she moves all day long and into the night.  I am afraid she is never going to sleep!  Last night Mike shook his finger at my belly and said "go to sleep now baby!"  It cracked me up.  And he says we need to get her on a schedule...hehehe!  She is just an active girl.  When I was a baby I never slept, I barely even napped.  Maybe she is taking after me already?  Is this God's way of getting revenge for my parents?  Probably.  It is funny because she startles at loud sounds.  If I drop something or close a door she jumps.  So funny.  And when Mike talks, she really gets going in there.  I am not sure if she is responding or if that is just coincidence but I think it is so sweet.

That's pretty much it right now.  Mike and I are readying the house because my Mom is coming to visit next weekend.  I am stressing out...she stresses me out.  But hopefully it will be a good visit.  She told me she has sewn a few blankets for Quinn.  Can't wait to see those...nothing better than a handmade gift!
