Is this what life is about? We train ourselves endlessly, trying to learn more and more of the things that we do not naturally know. We all claim to have an identity and categorise things into classes of superficiality and the real me, yet who are we really?

We are the dream that we have of ourselves. That person we all wish we were and we strive to be. We search for this measure of identity by setting goals and directions for ourselves rather than just letting things be, and in the end, we are nothing without the search... the journey... no destination... just an end of a search by natural mortality... the only sense of identity we have is mortality, and that is something that does not make any of usunique.

A political view... a spiritual and religious inclination... a nationality... a face, a name... the illusion of a personality... an age... a bank account balance... an IQ...an occupation... are these really the things that define me as a person?

I have lost sight of what is deemed natural to me... so let's try to think how I can find myself again. *ding!* Aha! I'll go and learn something from someone else - someone who does not even have their own identity - surely they will have mine.

The answer: I am joining the circus.
