Dear Friends,
Are you enjoying your summers you lucky bastards? I am right in the midst of "finals Week" except for the fact that it's basically finals day tomorrow. I am super caffeinated right now though I think I've done enough studying for the night, I doubt I'd be able to sleep. Let's have a looksee at my schedule tomorrow:
9am-11am Teatro del siglo XX Final...6 page paper that i finished today due as well
11:30am-1pm Novela española del siglo XX aka the class from hell surprise test that I just finished cramming for. i may flunk this class. i thought there was only a final in june, therefore I was going to just read the books after classes finished this week and prepare for the final before june 23. Surprise, there's a test tomorrow too over the 10 books that i have not even glanced at. Thank God for google and spanish spark notes pages...let's hope i can write some bullshit down and have the crazy spanish professor take pity on the silly american girl who never even goes to class. good thing my program pays for a tutor...
2pm-4pm Composition final. Not worried about this class at all. I got an A on the midterm. she insists we just write short sentences and i pretty much just use the present tense in half of my writing. i love you pilar, thanks for taking it easy on us
3:30pm??-5pm I'll get done with my comp final early I'm sure and then I'll hop on up to my final música y los medios de comunicación class. All I had to do for this class was make a radio show in Spanish...the class LOVED it, Isa asked me for a copy...and then I had to use windows movie maker to put music to a silent movie. Spaniards dont know what technology is, sometimes this is a blessing, many times a curse.
5pm-8pm CRASHING
8pm-like 11pm Final dinner paid by the program
11pm-8am- going out hardcore spanish style
8am- Monday morning - Working on the bajillion pages of stuff due for cine espanola and studying for the final
Even in the midst of panic and despair at what I am facing within hours, I can't help but love it and laugh at the mess I have put myself in.
¡QUE SERÁ, SERÁ!
I am also in the midst of a dilemma. Here it is: I don't want to leave, but I want to see all of you. Entonces, tenéis que venir aqui. Sooo worn out...that says you all need to come here. I just wish i had more time for certain new developments. We'll see how it works out, but supongo que if i leave the country, developments cease to exist.
AY DE Mi.
Besos,
Going to try to ignore my caffeine overdose and go to bed
