I have not updated in...a while.
Matt Fox came to visit this weekend and it was awesome - lots and lots of fun with good people.
Last month I went to Kauai with Morgan's family. Beach and hot tub and surfing and hiking and sailing! Fantastic vacation. Horrible, horrible sunburn from surfing ("waterproof" sunscreen). But worth it. I won my first chicken fight (I think I'm supposed to clarify that Morgan and I won my first chicken fight, but the important part is that I won).
In March I took my mom for mudbaths in Calistoga for her 50th birthday, which was great.
In February I went to Portland and saw all the great folks there, good times.
For the sake of sharing news, my pay at work has been cut twice - office closures every second Friday, and a 10% reduction in pay on top of that. But I'm very glad to still have a job, and there's nothing I can do about the pay cuts.
All in all, life is good. Matt Fox commented when he visited that have lots of good people in my life. And I do.
