Poor Steve, just when everything was going so well for him. I hope this will be a quicker mission than scheduled & that he will be back very soon

I was shocked to see how understanding Rachel was. She's learned a thing or 2 since all of this started

Just going to be me for a minute & point out a iouple of things I noticed & not trying to offend

Steve felt the tears against his shoulder should be Danny
“Not this time, don’t worry about it,” Rachel denied should be declared

Looking forward to nore in this verse & more of your stories in general. You already know what I want to see in both

I don't think anyone could be so cruel hearted as to not let a child say goodbye to someone!

hehe you know I never mind people pointing out any typos! although I don't think the points you made were wrong?! Steve was the one holding a teary Danny so he would feel the tears. And Rachel was denying that danny owed her one... I could see the second one being more wrong, if its really annoying I will change it! hehe

Anyways! Hopefully I will get more up sooner than this one! :D

Now the tears one made sense, I thought it was Steve crying & not Danny

As for the 2nd one it's not annoying, I have just never see it written that way

This was so beautifully emotional!

I like that Steve finally realizes that he has people, that he has loved ones, who want him to return home safely.

And good for Rachel for doing what's best for Grace and letting her spend more time with her two dads.

As for a prompt--Danny and Grace's reaction to a letter or email from Steve or news that Steve's coming home early from the mission.
