Aud thought: SNL
I'm mystified. I admit I'm a bit of a Saturday Night Live fan but not to the extent that I sit home on Saturday nights to ensure I don't miss an episode like I'm prone to do for CSI or The Apprentice (oh the shame). But I've discovered that there's no need to worry about missing a "Live" episode.
It's 11o'clock on a Friday night and what should I find on television, but SNL. This confuses me for a moment since I took a nap for a few hours when I got home this evening and it fleetingly crossed my mind that I had slept through Friday night and Saturday afternoon. A small amount of panic follows momentarily. I open my laptop and calmly check my calender to discover that I've slept a mere hour and a half rather than the feared 26. At this time I calmly begin to reflect on SNL.
I'm a big fan of reruns. I dedicatedly watch every Friends rerun I can find irregardless of how many times I've seen it in the past week. However I'll point out that they don't call it "Friends: Live!" I feel betrayed and misled when it's Friday night and "Live" is attempting to convince me that not only is it Saturday night, but No Doubt's "Hey Baby" is still a hit and it's Christmas Eve. We won't even start on Wednesday afternoons rerun and the trauma it caused me.
It just dawned on me that I admitted that I'm home before midnight on a Friday night. Perhaps I have larger issues to focus my energies on. =)
Side Note: Gwen Stefani is just plumb scary.
