"If you had known me then, you wouldn't recognize me now."
- Me
Christine and I had a great talk last night... she's always been one of my closest friends but lately the quality of our friendship seems to be growing. Partly because we don't see eachother as much, and partially because we're relating in new ways. We went out last night to eat and do some shopping. Unlike other "Girls Nights" we didn't do any singing, no movie and nothing particularly crazy. We just talked all night and ended up back at my apartment looking at pictures and laughing.I love you sooo much girl! I hope that where ever I end up in life you won't be too far.
I woke up this morning in the mood for rainy weather and wasn't dissapointed. I'm looking forward to going home, doing a little cleaning, then curling up in my "ufo" chair in front of my apartment with a good book. I haven't read any Frank Perretti in a while...
Today I feel a sense of contentment, the kind you get when you take the first step.
Cilla and Dustin, This would have been an awesome weekend for a reunion, but I just can't. As many times as I've pulled out my bag and wistfully wished to pack it, I just can't. Want to see everybody there sooooo very badly (ANN). We'll have to plan soon. I think I may be bringing Christine up with me... she'd have fun meeting everybody.
Hearts are worn in these dark ages
You're not alone in this story's pages
The light has fallen amongst the living and the dying
And I'll try to hold it in, yeah I'll try to hold it in
The world's on fire and
It's more than I can handle
I'll tap into the water
Try and bring my share
I try to bring more
More than I can handle
Bring it to the table
Bring what I am able
