I really couldn't believe the news coming out of Sendai earlier this week, see, I have a coworker who's supposed to go to a conference there starting on the 13th or so.
And a strong earthquake (7.2) made us all remark.
Well, I don't think he'll be headed to Sendai this week, not after what just happened. Not after an 8.9 and accompanying tsunami. Although I'm saddened that they've found so many bodies...
I'm quite glad he's not in Japan yet, or I'd be worried sick.
