So, I managed to get about half of my essential programs reinstalled, and I didn't lose any ebooks, music, or work files, it would seem.
I am still *very* miffed, and there was a great deal of cursing last night, including most of my monthly allotment of swearwords and I think *everything* off of George Carlin's 7 words you can't say on television.
Yeah. I think my cats were afraid last night.
The good news is that although I lost *time* today, I haven't lost either money or data, which means that hopefully, I'm still on track with my research and my writing.
But great googlymoogly, they're getting a REALLY strongly worded letter.
