[Fanfic] #005 Drabbles - Estival
Both Donghae and Hyukjae say nothing. Back against each other’s, they stations beside the river that they’ve always pass by on the way home after school. Wind’s triggering the water and disheveling their hair. Eyes close, and they think nothing - everything is at the state of quiescency.
We will make a wish together when a shooting star drops.
They open their eyes, and stares at the sky.
One, two, three, four…
The counting continues in their hearts, until the first star drops.
“We will be together forever.” Says Donghae’s heart.
“I hope what Donghae wishes will come true.” Hyukjae mouths the words, but he managed to silent it.
Eyelids slides up, they turn around and look at each other.
“Hyukjae,”
He looks down and smiles a little, as if he has already predicted what Donghae’s going to say.
“I’ve never once thought of you as a friend.”
“I know.” Hyukjae looks up and brushes Donghae’s hair. “Nothing has changed, right?”
“Hmnn.” Donghae nods with a grin.
He pinches Hyukjae’s cheeks and questions Hyukjae about his wish. Hyukjae claims that he has nothing to wish and then Donghae starts to whine how wasteful he was. The conversation never dies, nor pauses for a rest. Their summer vacation has just started.
“Hyukjae,” Donghae leans on the side of the latter. “I love you.” Hyukjae smiles again, but wider this time, and says nothing besides ruffling the younger male’s hair.
Summer’s hot, but they are inseparable.
